A native of Illinois, Victoria Kent attended Illinois State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations with a minor in Psychology in 2005. After graduation, she accepted a position at a boutique publishing PR firm, before landing at The Merchandise Mart in Chicago, where she worked on local and national design-focused trade shows. Four years later, she became an account director at XA, The Experiential Agency, where she led PR efforts for The James Hotel, David Burke’s Primehouse, Japonais, Horseshoe Casino and other notable establishments. After two years, Victoria moved on to become the head of PR for Rockit Ranch Productions, overseeing PR efforts for seven unique restaurant / bar concepts. Milestones during her almost two years with Rockit Ranch include five TODAY Show segments in 13 months and countless local and national placements, including Kathie Lee & Hoda, People Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Perez Hilton, LA Times to name a few. In 2015, she founded Victoria Kent Public Relations (VKPR), specializing in restaurant, hospitality and lifestyle public relations.
